I have mentioned how much I love blazers, and fall is the perfect time to wear them. When the temperatures are slightly cool but not cold enough for a full-on coat, a blazer is just right. Blazers can create endless clothing options in your closet, and this burgundy blazer for fall is a new favorite of mine.
Few things look more put-together than a blazer in my opinion. I love the sophistication they give, and of course their classic style! I have quite a few blazers in my closet, but I did not have a burgundy one so this purchase was a no-brainer. Burgundy is one of my favorite colors to wear, but it also works great in both the fall and winter. Banana Republic Factory always has a great selection of blazers that are all very reasonably priced as well. This blazer is made from a sturdy pique knit cotton and is very well-made. Gold buttons are used down the front and at the cuffs and they give the perfect amount of detailing.
I decided to wear this blazer with a white cami blouse and a pair of dark skinny jeans, both also from Banana Republic Factory. To accessorize the outfit, I went with all Target accessories like I usually do. I added these burgundy jewel drop earrings that despite being simple and lightweight, they are still a statement piece. I added this leopard print belt for a trendy detail and because leopard print complements burgundy really well, and I finished the look with camel-colored heels.
I have different outfits planned with this blazer, such as wearing a turtleneck underneath (one of my favorite looks), pairing it with a plaid short skirt, or even wearing it with a pair of leather leggings.
