I have an entire closet filled with clothing because I love to shop, but for some reason every time I am looking for an outfit for date night I can’t find anything I want to wear. Because the weather is so cold right now I haven’t been wearing too many dresses, but this dress is the perfect date night dress.
Adam and I aren’t people who enjoy going out to dinner very often or trying new restaurants. It’s safe to say that we are both fairly picky people when it comes to food. Honestly, our personal preference is to order pizza. We do enjoy going out to cocktail bars though and having a few well-made drinks is usually our preferred date night. There are a few bars in our neighborhood we frequent that are our favorites and all are the perfect middle ground between casual and more formal.
When I saw this dress online I was automatically drawn to it. I love the romantic style and that it is different from other dresses I own. The floral print is sophisticated and the color scheme is perfect for February. The fit is also great because it is fitted at the waist but has a flared skirt. This dress would definitely be flattering on most body types. To complete the outfit, I added a burgundy Kate Spade crossbody, a pair of burgundy heels and pink floral earrings. If you are someone who loves the look of statement jewelry but doesn’t like the weight, these earrings are for you. I have a pretty high tolerance for heavy statement earrings, but these are lightweight and can’t even be felt. The earrings are also a perfect complement to the floral dress! Depending on your occasion or your shoe personality, multiple different shoes will work with this dress. Give nude or blush heels a try, or even a pair of boots in colder temperatures. This date night style is so easy to put together and is one that will make you look and most importantly feel beautiful!
