Most people have a favorite type of clothing and I would say mine is definitely a blazer. It is no secret that I love dressier looks, and a blazer is just one of those put-together items that suits me well. While I like the classic look of blazers, this trendy blue blazer is a fun alternative.
I just recently made my first purchase from Shein and now I am addicted! There are literally thousands of items on the site with such a variety of styles. This blazer piqued my interest because it is blue (my favorite!) and I was intrigued by the off-the-shoulder look. I am attracted to more classic styles, but every now and then I like to spice it up and add something really trendy into my wardrobe..this blazer was just that!
The right side of the blazer is totally traditional but the left side is off-the-shoulder. I love the style of the blazer for two reasons: one, I love a one-shoulder style on any type of top and two, I love the contrast between each shoulder. Another unique element of the blazer is the asymmetrical hem which just adds to the look even more. I decided to style the blazer with a pair of black skinny pants. Since the blazer does have so much going on, it is best to keep it simple on the bottom, so simple pants are best.
I finished the look with snakeskin heels because the print complements the outfit perfectly, and I added these blue earrings along with this clutch. Simple but stylish accessories are best for this look so the outfit isn’t overly busy. I will say that this blazer does run a bit big, so if you are able to size down I would suggest doing so.
Since I do love blazers so much, I will be featuring a ton of them throughout the fall. The rest will undoubtedly be much more classic, but it was fun to try out this trendy blue blazer. Until next time!
